In what comes as a major endorsement for CANZUK, the Conservative Party of Canada have pledged to establish a CANZUK agreement should they form government after the 2025 federal election.
The party released it’s long-awaited election platform on Tuesday, which includes 30 pages of policy propositions to convince Canadian voters that Pierre Poilievre is the right candidate to become Prime Minister.
In being critical of the Liberal Party of Canada, the platform emphasizes the need to build more homes, lower taxes and increase levels of prosperity for Canadians across the country.

On Page 9, the platform also highlights establishing a CANZUK agreement, stating:
“Pursue a CANZUK free trade and mobility agreement with the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.”
The endorsement is the first time that the Conservative Party of Canada has publicly endorsed the CANZUK initiative with Pierre Poilievre as leader, particularly around the concepts of free trade and free movement of citizens.
