The UK’s leading party in opinion polls, Reform UK, have stated that they are “keen to explore” a CANZUK alliance to boost the UK’s economy and advance national security.
Richard Tice, the party’s Deputy Leader, told The Mail on Sunday that boosting ties with Canada, Australia and New Zealand was “of real interest” alongside the UK’s existing trade deals, with discussions ongoing around the party would promote CANZUK following the next general election.
While only being founded a few years ago, the party has swept popular opinion across the country and now leads in all national polls under its leader, Nigel Farage.

The UK’s Mail on Sunday also revealed that promoting CANZUK is gaining momentum among the Labour party as Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s trade deal attempts are beginning to stall.
On Friday, around 30 Labour MPs and peers gathered to discuss the formation of CANZUK as an alternative to stalling negotiations with the US, EU and China.
The news also comes after the Conservative party officially endorsed CANZUK, with Andrew Griffith, the Shadow Business Secretary, stating that such a partnership would be “top of the in-tray” for a future conservative government.
